The 1-3/8 in (35 mm) insulated door with high-pressure injected polyurethane foam ensures a high thermal-resistance rating of R-12 (k=0.476 W/m2K), and the solidity of a composite material. The solid mechanical overlap joint increases the weather tightness of the door and prevents delamination. The flexible tubular bottom weather stripping ensures the weather tightness of the threshold. A 14-gauge reinforcement plates are placed in the interior of the door where hinges and handles are attached. The door weighs 1.75 lbs/ft2 (8.53kg/m2). The springs from 25 000 to 100 000 cycles (in option) are recommended for high usage doors.
