The Water Alert® water detector alarm is activated by the liquid bridging the adjustable sensors. The unit can detect water film from zero height to 1/8" height. The Water Alert® sensor cable is a water detection cable sensor that acts as an extension of the sensing probes contained within the detector. It does not absorb, trap or wick moisture.
