Profile: Dowdeswell Engineering Co., Ltd. manufactures reversible ploughs for tractors. Our products are 140 series HA, 170 series MA, furrow press, and speed harra. The 140 series HA is a heavy duty range of fully mounted reversible ploughs with hydraulic furrow width adjustment, that are suitable for tractors up to 300 HP. With furrow width adjustable by 6 inches, it is possible to select the right width for the soil type and conditions, maximize work rate, and optimize tractor power usage. Adjustable furrow presses are in three frame sizes, each one being adjustable in width by about a meter. Extension of a press is simply made by extending the telescopic axles outwards to allow more rings to be added. Our speed harra is a tined cultivator, and is fully mounted or trailed for fast seedbed preparation in medium to light soils.
