Down Hide Pullers is used for holding the head during an up hide-pulling operation. It includes a pair of parallel bars for purposes of gripping and releasing the head of an animal carcass during the up hide-stripping operation. The hold down device is adjustable along the vertical to accommodate animal carcasses of various sizes. It is designed to remove hides from beef carcasses and keeping a maximum quality in hide removal. It can be operated by each side of a central chain to pull down the hide following two rollers end anchored to the floor roller equipped with chains. It is made inside the shanks of the rear legs, allowing the hide to tear so that it could be peeled off downwards. It is used for both strength and speed. It provides the high quality uniform hide preferred by tanner and hide processor. It is used to prevent bending trolleys and hooks from the rail. It performs efficiently at the speed of up to 80 per hour.
