Profile: Dunlop Aircraft Tyres Ltd. is a provider of aircraft tyres. We specialize in the work of manufacturing and retreading aircraft tyres. We are certified with BS EN ISO 9001:2000 quality certification. We serve the aviation and aerospace sectors. We also manufacture inner tubes for aircraft tyres and creel bead. We avail products like new bias tyre for the A400M military transport plane and a new radial tyre for the Boeing 737 NG. Aircraft tyre we produce is a composite structure of three basic materials namely rubber, nylon cord and steel. Aircraft tyres fall into two distinct technologies namely bias and radial. The bias ply tyre consists of casing plies running diagonally at approximate right angles to one another. The number of plies and the angles at which they are laid dictate strength & load capacity. One of our high-performance bias ply aircraft tyres feature inter-tread reinforcing fabric. On the other side in radial aircraft tyres the plies all run radially from bead to bead at approximately 90° to the center-line of the tyre. Angled belt plies are laid between the tread and the top casing ply, resulting in a flatter tread and adding strength to the tyre.
