In pneumatic conveying systems, discharge is usually required from the filter or cyclone to the silo at atmospheric pressure. This rotary valve is modular, making it easy to fit and is built to be robust. The valve is constructed in heavy steel plate while the rotor of each module is also equipped with an elastic clutch. This reduces the possibility of damage while it is being used and maximizes the life of the unit. The rotor itself has special rubber seals, which provide an effective airlock between the inlet and the outlet.
