Eco-chimney
Description: Eco-Chimney is an improved eco-friendly version of the conventional chimney used in brick kilns. In a kiln, the bricks are evenly burnt by the help of the inner and outer arch; the flue gas travels through both inner and outer arches evenly, so that the heating process is proper. The flue gas travels though a long duct and thus the SPM sticker area in increased. The flue gas filter is linked with two settling chambers that incorporates a special type of cyclonic system of settling chamber; the green bricks arrangement in the main duct also acts as a good filter. The horizontal valves provided are arranged in the inner side of the middle wall, thereby the valves are away from the firing zone. It also helps to increase the life span of the valves and controls the leakage; all the above features control the pollution with great amount of fuel saving. Salient features: chimneys with varied height, particularly small dia with any height, which is not possible with conventional chimney; approved by the CPCB, India; comparatively weighs less than brick and metal chimney; suitable for all weather conditions, can be erected on loose soil also, highly economical and erection time is limited; noncorrosive unlike steel chimney, also tested and approved by The Energy Resource Institute, India; does not require any fire proof lining insulation and there is good ventilation inside the chimney; no heat radiation effects on the metal liners; unaffected due to the temperature circumferential and vertical stresses; duly patented by the Govt of India, vide patent no. 194863 dt.05.12.02; the steel tower acts as lightening resister, the chimney is wind resistant and serves as a permanent scaffold for erection and maintenance; the inner surface of the chimney is smooth so that the exit velocity is not affected.
