Profile: Effingham Steel Services Ltd. specializes in automatic grinding of bulk steel & metallic material. We have three automatic grinding machines which can achieve sine wave, spot & full surface grinding of forged ingots, fluted ingots, blooms, slabs, billets, and small bars, thereby reducing surface defects & flaws with minimal yield loss. We are registered under BS EN ISO 9001. Our machines have the capacity to process material 18 meters in length, 1100 mm in section, and 1400 mm wide slabs and blooms with craneage facilities to handle up to 30 tonnes. We also offer saws which are capable of performing blank cutting like automatic bandsaws and semi-automatic bandsaws. Our semi-automatic bandsaws have the facilities to cut bar, plate, billet, tube, ring, structural section, forgings & castings in most machinable materials including carbon, nickel alloys, and non-ferrous materials.
