The heat transformation of glass needs specially design kilns and certain heating program. We have developed glass kilns with low cost and high efficiency, employing optimum surface heating with infrared fused silica tube heater coils & high quality, light weight & low conductivity insulating material. It provides ultramodern accurate and precise temperature control by microprocessor based digital PID programmable controller having 10 programs & each program of 16 steps with thyristorised phase angle firing heater control module to achieve any desired temperature/time profile. Features: faster heating & cooling; uniform heating; easy lifting of the top lid: automatic user friendly microprocessor based digital programmer; any temperature/time profile can be programmed up to 10 programs & each program of 16 steps (Ramp and Soak) can be stored; simultaneous display of kiln temperature & travelling set temperature; display of percentage heat input, destination of step, remaining time of step & current step in progress can be requested at any given time; and tune lock facility to lock PID values & temperature/time programmed cycles to pre vent unauthorised modification.
