Description: Electro luminescent lamp using solid-state electronics is of thin phosphor coated plastic sheets with conductive surface. When an alternative current (AC) voltage is applied, the phosphor lights up. The lamps can be made in any shape, and they may be bent, twisted, or formed in almost any position. These are thin and flexible, generate light without heat, less weight, no filament to break, custom size, uniform light and consume very low power. These are used in backlighting for membrane switches, automotive; pathway and light box for trade show.
