Electromagnetic Yoke

Ferrochem electromagnetic yoke, Model M9II is extremely lightweight with non-stop operation even at ambient temperature. The weight is less than 3 kg without adaptor and cable. The yoke is very easy to operate and its lifting capacity is (AC) 4.5 kg at 150 mm and (DC) 22 kg at 150 mm, which certainly meets the ASTM requirements. The heavy-duty electrical circuitry can operate on both AC and DC. It operates on single phase, 230 V, 50 Hz with input current of 2 A. The two sets of articulated legs have a pole spacing varying from 40 to 190 mm. Yoke in AC mode can be used even for demag operations. Thus the yoke is suitable for testing welding joints, small castings, machined components where electrical contact is undesirable. Thus it has a wide range of applications.
