Description: Mitraset 19″ electronic housings to VG 95446 are designed to accommodate electronics equipment in a 19″ rack. They fulfill a number of protective functions for instance, deflection of mechanical stresses such as impact, shock and vibrations, protection against electromagnetic interference such as radio waves, lightning strikes, as well as from general environmental influences such as heat, moisture and dust. In order to fulfill these requirements Mitraset 19″ electronic housings are constructed as follows: casing is constructed of precision welded high mile aluminium sheets to which an elastically suspended anti-vibration frame, made from extrusions, is fitted. The actual device to be protected is inserted into this framework and screwed in. The anti-vibration framework is linked to the casing by means of rails and rubber shock mounts, the type of bearing and the material used are selected to suit the relevant requirements. Protection type IP 65 to DIN 40 050 and ICE 34-5/529 using welded housing and lid with peripheral seal. Base with stacking bars, top plate features recesses for stacking. All sizes can be stacked with other sizes (with the exception of depth 610). Inside frame made from aluminium extrusions suspended by shock mounts. Sides with countersunk drop-type sprung handles. All sides and top sections come with reinforcing ribs (with the exception of depth 610). Rubber mounts with rails to accommodate anti-vibration framework. Fully removable framework.
