The model RT6400 rotor test system features a Windows™ operating system. It is a fully automatic accept/reject tester, specifically designed for testing wound rotors on the production floor. The quick change test fixture changes from one part to another quickly. This test fixture design uses two separate parts; a base contact pad and a test socket top. Base contact pad remains permanently mounted to the tester's workstation. Test socket top is where the armature is actually inserted. The tops are removable and interchangeable. Tops consists of a donut, kelvin contact pins, a centering bushing and cover. It is placed on top of the base contact pad, and is held in place with two bolts.
