Our Janus 8801 24 bay SATA II is a dual redundant controller, dual 4 Gb fibre to SATA-II / SAS RAID storage subsystem. Its compact 4U - 24 bay chassis features hot-swappable power supplies and fans. The RAID controller, fans, and power supplies are modularized allowing for easy removal from the rear of the unit. It hierarchically organizes storage objects. With this structure, physical drives are combined into disk groups (DG). Disk Groups are subdivided into Logical Disks (LD) where arrays are created. Lastly, Logical Disk can be combined or stripped together to form volumes. Some common application of our Janus 8801 include enterprise storage, disk to disc backup, performance driven HD, video streaming applications, security & surveillance, regulation compliance storage and disaster recovery storage. Our Janus 6603 16 bay SATA II to iSCSI RAID offers storage of up to 24.0TB. Units are standard with 4 1Gb iSCSI ethernet hosts, 1Gb memory cache that is upgradeable to 2Gb, & redundant 460W power supplies. It is available with battery backup.
