Profile: Ellwood Engineered Castings produces engineered castings in gray and ductile iron with sizes ranging from 1 to 100 tons. Our mold designs range from 20-foot-long consumable electrode molds to 1-1/2 ton superalloy molds to mammoth 100-ton forging ingot molds. Our line of ingot mold products include stools, sprue plates, center runners, hot top castings & related products used in ingot pouring, slag pots used in electric furnace shops and chill molds for roll makers, as well as nuclear containers for nuclear recyclers.
