Our tap holders of type KSN are designed for application in CNC machining centers, CNC turning machines, and other machine tools. They are mainly used on CNC machines with synchronous spindle. Our workholding system SP only allows radial expansion up to tolerance class IT 11. It helps to bridge larger tolerances. This is a slotted clamping bush with a special buttress thread. With this thread, the bush is screwed onto the body. By applying an axial force the clamping bush moves in the direction of the force. Due to the thread angle there is also a radial expansion.
