Profile: Endicott Coil Company, Inc. offers coils, transformers and magnetics. Our products include self-supported, molded, impregnated, encapsulated and bobbin wound coils, circuit board assemblies and standard CE transformers. Self-supported coils are ideally suited where dimensional constraints preclude the use of a bobbin/other coil form. These are achieved by using wire with a bondable coating activated by solvents, resistance heating. Magnet wire is available with underlying insulation up to 180°C. In applications where impregnation/varnish processes are not desirable, coil bonding using bondable wire is employed to prevent movement/abrasion of wire. Transfer and injection molded coils & transformers are an effective means to protect magnetic components from harsh environmental conditions including moisture, grease, salt, vibration and other harmful agents. Molded coils provide excellent dielectric, uniform size and consistent dimensional stability. Critical coil dimensions are assured by using precision molds, selecting proper coil materials and applying process & quality controls. We produce molded coils and transformers to meet the precise specifications of UL, CSA, and the military. Our molding department provides prototype parts for pre-production testing, quick turnaround for initial ramp-up, short-run orders required over a longer time frame and spares.
