External Plunge Grinder, Automatic
The automatic external plunge grinder is manufactured by Precision Machine Tool. The machine has one-piece bed made of highgrade cast iron and provided with strong ribs for rigidity. It also features a large inverted prismatic guide and wide track for table. Admit between centre is 300 mm to 2000 mm. Wheel head has hydrodynamic spherical clearance adjustable white metal bush bearings with ?400 x 40 x 127 mm grinding wheel. Separate electrical control panel has PLC control and reputed electrical components. The machine is tested as per IS 2368 and operating manual and test chart are provided. The operating cycle includes coarse feed and fine feed that results in the spark out and rapid return of wheel head and in feed retraction.
