Waste from the bar screen is dumped in a trough, through a hopper adapted to the bar screen one. The shaftless Archimedes screw pushes the waste to the exit hopper for conveyor screws, or to the compression chamber for compactor screws. The trough is protected from screw friction by a HD500 strip. The 500-mm-long compression chamber is composed of a cylindrical sheet steel basket with 60 x 4 mm perforations, 4 cleaning nozzles which can be supplied by an optional electro-valve, and a compression valve at the exit. Access to the chamber is easy, via a trapdoor pivoting on hinges that can be fastened with a padlock. The drained water is evacuated from the compression chamber, through DN65 tubing welded under the trough, to the channel or post. Our screws are delivered with height-adjustable support legs which can be removed if desired. Supplied from above or below, stand-up or hang-up, with variable flow rates, our sprinklers are motorized and can be set up in a wide variety of situations.
