Our crimped type fin tube is obtained by wrapping a non taper fin around the base tube. The finning process results in a crimp formation at the foot of the fin. Then, the fin is welded to the base tube at the strip ends. Our L base fin tube is obtained by subjecting the strip material to controlled deformation under tension giving optimum contact pressure in the foot of the fin. The foot of the fin protects the base tube from corrosion.
