Our #2021 series inverter is designed to power fluorescent fixtures for transportation using a battery source or anywhere 12V or 24V DC power is available. It is encased in a rugged die-cast aluminum enclosure, the 2021 is entirely epoxy-encapsulated to provide a high degree of resistance to moisture and vibration. It is also fuse-protected to prevent possible overheating. This inverter was designed as a separate unit for the #2011 fixture. These units invert the direct current of a battery to the alternating power required to fire and sustain the lighting of fluorescent tubes. The units contain quality solid-state devices and discrete components for reliability. The units are encapsulated to improve vibration specifications. It critical heat sensitive components are heat sunk to the chassis to eliminate possibilities of thermal damage. Our replacement inverter is designed for replacement on series 200 and 400 fixtures.
