Flow Switch

Description: Floman Flow Switch is used to make or break an electrical circuit when flow is above or below a pre-set limit in a pipeline using liquids. It can thus work as a safety switch in chilled water system; for remote indication of flow/no flow condition; to actuate remote alarm if flow or no-flow condition is abnormal or hazardous and in cooling systems for expensive machinery, bearings and compressors. It can be used in water purification and treatment systems, fire sprinkler systems, blending and additive systems; as actuating/tripping device for pumps and burners; for mixing measured chemicals in water pipeline and to detect a failure in a pipeline flow. The switch compartment is isolated from the process fluid and its presence in the pipeline due to sealed construction. All mechanical connections between the paddle and switching assembly are eliminated by magnetic switching actuation. This switch is suitable for liquids having maximum temperatures up to 300°F and pressures up to 250 PSI. These switches can be adjustable at site for minimum and maximum flow/no-flow ranges.
