Fuel Additives
Fuel Additives (For Furnace Oil, LSHS, LDO, HSD, SKO, Naptha) are used in applications such as boilers/thermic fluid heaters, thermo pack, DG sets, automobiles, and marine vessels. The SKO in DG sets contain combustion catalyst and hence improves combustion efficiency and helps to increase units generated per liter by at least 3%. It reduces unburnt carbon deposits in engine SPM level in emission due to detergency action of the additive. It is completely organic, non-hazardous, environmental-friendly, non-corrosive and has neutral pH as well as improves lubricity of SKO. It is also used for reducing burning, losses in the steel sector - due to its improved burnability. Furnaces can operate on less excess air leading to reduced scale formation when the metal moves to the furnace, hence, results in lesser burning loss and helps in the reduction of maintenance costs, leading to increase in the overhaul periods.
