Profile: Fusion Incorporated specializes in brazing and soldering automation. We provide paste solder alloys which are the carefully blended formulations of atomized filler metal, solder flux, and special paste binders. We offer input on the chemical and metallurgical aspects of parts joining. We manufacture non-ferrous metal powders and custom alloys. We produce powders using inert gas atomization that yield uniform and rounded particles. Each production heat is tailored to meet customer needs for analysis, density and other criteria. Our metal powder offers tin/lead, silver bearing alloys, copper bearing alloys and aluminum bearing alloys. Our automatic brazing and soldering machines are substantial and the approach is a simple one. In most cases, one operator loads and unloads the parts. The application of filler metal and flux, along with heating and cooling is handled by the machine. Our wire feed system is designed to dispense brazing & soldering wire at precise length and feed rates, yielding high quality joints with minimal waste. The system is capable of feeding wire diameters from 0.045" to 0.080" and infinitely adjustable between 0 and 2".
