Profile: GCE Mfg., LLC manufactures affordable and high-end residential elevators. Our home elevators are roped hydraulic, which ensures a smooth and quiet ride. Our elevators can be made of oak, mahogany, cherry, or walnut. We custom build every residential elevator to the specifications and space limitations. An 8″ recessed pit is required for all home elevators to insure proper running clearances. With a standard cab height of 6'- 8″ you will only need an overhead (distance from the top floor to the ceiling) of 8'- 0″. This space increases as the cab height increases.
