Proven to 8000g's, the stalled rotor design provides survivability in the most extreme applications. With rotational torques as high as 50 in-lbs, and response times as low as 2 mS, the advantages of a rotary solenoid are obvious. The bi-stable rotary actuator, features a permanent magnetic latching armature that can be driven with positive and negative polarity to desired rotational positions. These same advancements have also led to proportional rotary actuators which feature varied positions based on varied power inputs. Typical applications for bi-stable solenoids and proportional solenoids include optical shutters & throttle body controls. LVDT can provide data with as low as ½ percent point of accuracy of full scale output. Within a LVDT, a permeable core is pushed through a copper coil and a signal is outputted. LVDTs are used in the most crucial applications where human life is at stake with zero margin for error. Its uses include primary flight controls, thrust reversers, landing gear, steering feedback, and F.A.D.E.C. AC/DC wet-pin products are the standard for pressurized bore solenoids. Our proprietary inlay and welded tube design minimizes part counts by eliminating dynamic seals & allowing the fluid media to travel in and around the solenoid armature. This results in exceptional cycle life, excellent cooling, and superior solenoid force with multiple interchangeable components.
