Profile: Galfinband SA is engaged in the production of cold rolled steel strips & bare or metallic coated with tin and lead-tin alloy. We produce corrosive protected packing steel strips and catching pieces for binding & SiCa, graphite, sulphur & titanium-iron cored wire steel tubes for steel treatment in the casting ladle. We design and research operation of technologic installations, industrial automation & communication systems. We provide automation concepts and information technology & SCADA systems for industrial processes. Our real-time software is for industrial process control. Cold rolled strips with a minimum width of 0.06mm are produced by a computer-controlled quarto reversible rolling mill & the process parameters are monitored. The physico-chemical characteristics of strips are obtained by a thermal treatment performed in a computer controlled bell-type installation. Tin or tin-lead alloys coated strips are produced by a specialized production line that performs the coating of strips with non-ferrous metals (copper and brass), as well. We also produce catching pieces for binding & deliver a whole range of packing devices and accessories.
