Galvanometers Suppliers
Galvanometers are used to determine the presence, direction and strength of an electric current in a conductor. Galvanometers are constructed of a compass surrounded by a coil of wire. A galvanometer is a type of ammeter, which is an instrument for detecting and measuring electric current. Galvanometers are used to detect a null or an unbalanced condition in a bridge or potentiometer circuit. Galvanometers are used ballistically to integrate a transient current. A galvanometer consists of a rectangular coil, which is free to pivot vertically in an approximately uniform horizontal magnetic field. Galvanometers are mirrors, which are controlled by magnetic field produced by electric coil. Galvanometers are rotational drives with high resolution and acceleration within a certain angular range, to which high reflectance mirrors are attached. Galvanometers are equipped with closed-loop position & temperature control and allow very fast and precise positioning of the mirrors mounted on the motor axes.
