Description:
Gantry robots are high speed cartesian robots, used for typical handling applications requiring top access and overhead transport like machine tending, pick & place operations and palletizing. Rectilinear gantry robots have three standard axis, the cross movement axis (X), in addition to the vertical (Z) and transfer (Y) motions. It is typically used for material handling applications, where small cross travels are necessary. Line gantry robots have two standard axis for vertical (Z) and transfer (Y) motions, typically used for material handling applications. All gantry robots have standard tool mounting interface, compatible auxilliary axis and tooling modules.
