Description: A full range of Sniffer series of gas detectors has been introduced for domestic, commercial, automobiles and industrial applications. Model FF400 (Fix & Forget) is an ideal product for use in commercial establishment using LPG/LNG (CNG/methane) like hotels, restaurants, flight kitchens, temporary kitchens, store rooms, meter rooms, godowns and laboratories. This system is also available for a large number of toxic gases. The model equals the phrase fix and forget No maintenance and calibration is required. This can be installed by a local electrician also. This model is aesthetically packaged in a tamper proof, water proof, and dust proof light enclosure. It is available in many configurations to suit different users and schemes with accessories like automatic gas shut off valve, remote repeater audio visual alarm panel, central monitor panel and battery backup. This model does not give false alarms, as it is not sensitive to vapours like aerosol sprays, alcohol, steam and kitchen fumes. System is based on high sensitivity and long life imported sensors. An alarm is set at < 10% of the combustibility limit which is 10% LEL (lower explosive limit). This is one-tenth the danger level and half of the level specified by Oil Industry Safety Directorate, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. The alarm remains active as long as the gas concentration remains above alert level. Normal power consumption is 3 watts only and the instrument works on 230 AC.
