Description: PTFE gasket tape is available in sizes, width ranging from 25 mm to 200 mm and in 0.5 mm up to 3.0 mm thickness. Although the fibres have a multi-directional orientation, tensile strength is higher along the longitudinal axis. It is possible to cut or punch gasket from tape and has full width adhesive tape on one side. It is approved for use with foodstuff (also available without adhesive tape). Technical data: density (at delivery): d = 0.75 g/cm3; temperature range: -240°C up to + 270°C; pressure: from vacuum up to 200 bar pH 0 - 14; gasket parameter, assembly QUV/ 0,01 = 30 Mpa; gasket parameter, operational m0,01 = 2.5. All physical properties of 100% PTFE; gasket permit economical cut from the tape allowing cutting out intricate shapes or punching with simple tools, reducing maintenance time.
