Description: Geared motors are manufactured for various applications like machine tools, textiles, aquaculture, crane and hoists and material handling. Geared motors are designed and manufactured to provide efficient, continuous drive for slow speed, high torque applications. These geared motors are compact, rugged, noise free and absolutely reliable. CG Series geared motors range (kW/HP): 0.12/0.18 to 15/20, 10 to 500 RPM. Regarding constructional features of these gears the gears and pinions are helical type and are designed to transmit high torque and power with smooth running under all types of operating conditions. Gearhousing-housing and end covers are designed for high ruggedness and made out of CI grade FG200. Anti-friction bearings like ball/cylindrical/taper roller bearings are used to take care of radial and thrust loads and are selected to give increased bearing life. Standard electric motor will be 3 phase-AC-TEFC-415 V-50 Hz Class F insulation-C flange with standard shaft extensions. Other specifications like non-standard voltages, frequencies, insulations and ambient are offered on request. Lubrication is foolproof, achieved by splash of oil. Oil fill cum breather plug, oil drain plug and oil level indicator are so placed that they are interchangeable depending on mounting position.
