Description: Gas-operated gensets are highly reliable, fuel efficient, require low maintenance and are environment-friendly. These gensets are available in 150 kW to 1000kW rating, suitable for high Indian ambient temperature conditions. They run on natural gas, biogas, producer gas, landfill gas and sewage gas. Features of the engines include inspection doors on either side of the cylinders, diagonally split crank shaft, bi-metallic bearings for connecting rods and crank shaft, aluminium alloy piston with three rings, cast individual cylinder head with four valves per cylinder, wet type cylinder liners, water cooled exhaust manifolds, option of electric or pneumatic starters, high performance turbochargers, auxiliary engine loads driven by gears and commonality of vertical components.
