Profile: Geometrics, Inc. is a supplier of portable geophysical instruments. Our product line includes seismographs, magnetometers and geo electrical products. Our ES-3000 is light weight with an ultra-portable recorder. The system includes ESOS data acquisition software, and the ES-3000 seismodule is connected directly to the PC via the Ethernet port - no additional hardware or drivers are required. The ES-3000 system comes with all the data analysis software. Our new Geometrics OhmMapper is a capacitively coupled resistivity meter, that measures the electrical properties of rock and soil without cumbersome ground stakes used in traditional resistivity surveys. A simple co-axial cable array with transmitter and receiver sections is pulled along the ground either by a single person or attached to an all-terrain vehicle. It features a full dipole-dipole resistivity profile which can be done in a fraction of the time taken for traditional resistivity measurement. It operates over frozen ground, ice, concrete, and other areas where grounded dipole measurements are difficult to make.
