Profile: Glacier Garlock Bearings manufactures metal-polymer plain bearings. Our products include metal-polymer materials, solid polymer, fibre-reinforced plastic composite materials, bimetallic materials and monometallic materials. Our polymer bearing materials have a common structure consisting of steel backing bonded to porous bronze sinter layers. Our SP products are used in automobile applications such as steering gears, power steering, steering knuckle pins and lift gate bearings.
