Profile: Glasson Electronics Ltd specializes in lighting products. Our lighting products include DFS200, DFS200 and DFS4000. Our DFS200 system offers a new dimension in traditional lamp control. Although they are on the same cable, each of the lamps shown above can be controlled independently. Using special lamp holders up to 100 5W lamps can be controlled on the same cable. The system enables large scale coordinated displays which would otherwise be impracticably complex. The product has recently been improved to give full intensity control instead of the original on/of fade up, fade down control. Full control greatly simplifies integration into DMX controlled systems. The power supply has also been downgraded to operate just 100 lamps instead of 200. This gives a much more compact and electrically robust unit. Our DFS3000 system has been recently completely redesigned to offer full RGB LED control when operated from DMX. The system can individually control up to 150 special LED globes all on a common cable. The wiring strategy is user defined and can be formed from any 8A rated cable and lamp holders including standard festoon harness. DFS3000 LED units are just like a standard bulb with a standard ES base. Internally they include special decoding circuitry and four high intensity RGB LEDs. DFS3000 LED units can even be retro-fitted into existing festoon installations. Simply wire the cable back to the DFS3000 power unit and program the system to realize a fantastic colorful lighting display.
