The surface generated directly from our 3D scanner can be used to print rapid prototype models in plastic, wax, plaster or metal. Our 3D scans can be used to provide virtual inspection of the entire surface of a part, and not just a set of discrete points. Our highly detailed scan is used to efficiently measure parts to Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards, faster and more efficiently than a traditional CMM. 3D scans can be scaled up or down, trimmed, mirrored and manipulated in any number of creative ways, and used to generate 3D CNC toolpaths directly, without any additional processing.
