Description: GPS-based master and slave clock system is designed to provide information on time using global positioning satellite system (GPS) or stand alone high stability oscillator. The system provides synchronised time data for all the activities in power plants, process industries, airports, railway stations, AIR and Doordarshan where several computers or systems are installed. The common reference time is obtained from the GPS orbiting round the earth or from a high stability oscillator. In case of non-availability of satellite signal, the master runs in free running mode by using its own RTC and oven controlled crystal oscillator. Some of the target systems are synchronized through contacts inputs, therefore system provides relay contact outputs. Specifications: Master Clock GPS - GPS time synchronisation to PC, LAN network (optional), slave clocks; RS 232C, RS485, TCPI IP (optional) interface; multiple slave clock drive up to 1.2 km; time date display (LCD); built-in real time clock; potential free contact output pulse (1PPS, 1PPM, 1PPH, 1PPD); membrane keypad for configuration of contact OiP selection, periodicity, pulse width - local/time set; LED indication of status (GPS healthy, modes of operations); backup time using high accuracy (0.1, 1 PPM) oscillators; alarm facility; operating voltage - 230 V AC, 50 Hz; and dimension: 483 mm x 355 ma x 560 mm. Digital Slave Clock: time synchronisation with master or GPS (in standalone mode); time display in HH:MM:SS,` (HH:MM); display seven segment red (4" & 2" digit, any other please specify); signal driving distance 1.2 km through twisted pair communication cable used for RS485 link; multiple dose clock connectivity, extended slave clock drive; stand-alone/network mode; remote setting for time/manual time set through remote control (optional); ceiling/wall mounting; and operating voltage - 230 V AC, 50 Hz.
