Profile: GreenBug Energy designs, manufactures, installs, operates and maintains screw generators for low head micro hydro sites and related industrial energy recovery applications between 1 and 500kW in size. We make micro hydro-electric projects with heads between 1 and 10 meters financially profitable while reducing greenhouse gases and improving fish passage. Installation services consist of many activities including construction planning and permitting, concrete work, excavating, screw installation, and electrical connection. Installation is perhaps the riskiest of all project development steps particularly when dealing with existing old structures.
