UPS spindles are standardised on straight bore quill fitment, but can be manufactured with taper bore quill fitment. Standard features of spindles: all spindles are dynamically balanced; shaft and spindles nose are with ground threads; maximum runout on face and bore of shaft is within 3 microns; and bearings used are of SNFA angular contact bearings or equivalent.
