The LPAr (Liquid Pressure Amplifier) is used in a variety of applications that make the standard refrigeration system more efficient, and saves energy. One application is a term called floating head pressures, which is a method used to optimize any refrigeration or air conditioning system, to reduce or float the condensing temperatures with ambient temperatures in an attempt to improve efficiencies. However, this is seldom achieved if flash gas is present as a result. The LPAr pump is a semi-hermetically sealed unit with important design features. The impeller floats in a revolving magnetic field and is the only moving part. The magnetic flux is supplied by an external motor with a magnetic coupling device. As the motor is external to the system, a burnout cannot contaminate the system.
