Description: Hardened & Tempered Steel Strips are offered by TMA International of low, medium and high alloy carbon steel, produced with a unique processing facility. Liquid metal bath quenching with automatic computerised temperature control system is employed which is different from conventionally used oil quenching process. The process to produce bainitic steel strips has a combination of hardness with ductibility that improves the toughness property. The strips are manufactured from quality killed and vacuum degassed steel cold rolled in-house in modern cold rolling mills with close dimensional tolerance, in a range of standard grades. Range and technical specifications: width - .50 mm to 400mm, thickness - 0.10mm to 4.50mm, finish - bright ground or polished blue, brown and grey, edges - one or both edges round, square, chamfered and bevelled, grades - steels having medium & high carbon & low alloy contents, tolerances - as per IS 2507-1975 or DIN 1544 normal variations, microstructure - tempered martensile orbainite, hardness - as per customer's specific requirements for a particular purpose - hardened & tempered, as rolled hard & as annealed.
