Description: Dynamic hardness testers are known for their productivity, ease-of-use and reliability. Through continuous work with various ASTM standardisation committees, these hardness-testing products meet the strict standards applied by ASTM. Particularly suited for applications such as hardness testing on large, coarse grained components such as forgings and cast materials, the DynaPocket, DynaMIC, and MIC 20 Series hardness testers meet the A95602 Standard Test Method for Leeb Hardness Testing of steel products. The DynaMIC operates according to the rebound hardness testing method (standardised according to ASTM A956) using a special signal processing technique that automatically compensates for changes in testing direction. Position the impact devices and read the hardness value - that is hardness testing in a matter of seconds. Different impact devices are available to ensure an optimum match to material and application. The DynaMIC DL Data Logger model can internally store hardness values along with statistical information. Product features: measurement of hardness independent of impact direction (without input of any correction values) due to patented signal processing standardised according to ASTM A956; automatic conversion of hardness to HV, HB, HRC, HRB, HS, HL and N/mm/2; different impact devices dependant on application - Dyna D for standard applications; Dyna G for heavy, solid parts; Dyna E for hardness range beyond 650 HV; and Data Logger version with internal data memory for measurement data and instrument settings. Applications include solid, coarse-grained components; machine parts made of steel and cast aluminium alloys; large series parts during production; and heavy forgings.
