Profile: Heatrek Refractories Ltd. manufactures engineered products and services. HT block is a fast and easy design concept based on module sizes of 300-600 mm long x 305 mm wide, and in thicknesses from 100-400 mm. These blocks are available in four grades such as 1260, 1400, 1600 (alumino silicate fibers) and 1200 (body soluble fibers) and are supplied in densities ranging from 128 to 212 kg/m3. During the manufacture, HT blocks are super compressed to the specified density and size, and are held in compression during transport and installation by means of industrial strength paper. This paper wrap gives the added advantages of a building aid, allowing modules to slide easily past one another during installation, and also minimizing dust release whilst handling & installing.
