Profile: Hi-Z Technology, Inc. designs, develops and manufactures Thermoelectric Modules and Generator systems, ranging from milliwatt size to multiple kilowatt size in power output patented gapless eggcrate technology. Our products include power generating modules and other accessories. Our HZ-2 thermoelectric module produces 2.5 Watts at 3.3 volts at matched load. It generates a highly reliable source of electrical power from any source of heat. The HZ-2 module consists of 97 thermocouples arranged electrically in series, and thermally in parallel. The thermocouples consist of "Hot Pressed", Bismuth Telluride based semiconductors, to give the highest efficiency at most waste heat temperatures, as well as high strength capable of enduring rugged applications. Our HZ-9 thermoelectric module uses bismuth telluride based semiconductors. The HZ-9 is of the same width and length as HZ-14, but output power at the same temperatures is lower. The HZ-9 module consists of 98 thermocouples arranged electrically in series, and thermally in parallel. The thermocouples consists of "Hot Pressed", bismuth telluride based semiconductors, to give the highest efficiency at most waste heat temperatures, as well as high strength capable of enduring rugged applications. The bonded metal conductors enable the HZ-9 module to operate continuously at temperatures as high as 250°C (480F), and intermittently as high as 400°C (750F) without degrading the module.
