Description: The 6mm Diameter High-Density Cartridge Heaters comprise of coils that are made from top quality nickel chromium wire placed inside the tube. The tube is filled with high purity magnesium oxide powder. This unit is then stamped to compact the insulation. This compacting of insulation results in faster heat transfer and allows the heater to withstand normal shocks and vibration. These heaters are also available with built-in thermocouples (J or K type), which are useful where it is not possible to put a sensor. It is available in 6mm or ¼″ diameter and 40mm length. The wattages available are up to 100 W per sq. inch of sheath area.
