High temperature conveyors are capable of carrying materials up to 900ºF. They use vacuum to create in-line conveying systems for hot gases, soot, ashes, and debris. Conveying rates are controlled by regulation of compressed air pressure, which is first ejected into hoses or tubes to create vacuum. The high temperature conveyors eject a small amount of compressed air to produce a vacuum on one end, resulting in high output flows on the other. The response is instantaneous. Regulating the compressed air pressure provides infinite control of the conveying rate. Applications include sampling hot flue gases, exhausting fumes, conveying soot, ashes and hot debris.
