Profile: Hood River Cable, Inc. manufactures data and telecommunication cable assemblies. We manufacture coax, multi-conductor, multi-pair, shielded and non-shielded cable assemblies. Our 24 AWG bare copper DS0 assemblies incorporate twisted pair bare copper cable. They are for use in applications where the enhanced properties of tinned copper conductors are not required. The 24 AWG shielded tinned copper DS0 assemblies are enhanced versions of the tinned copper DS0 assemblies that incorporate an overall aluminum foil shield. The shielding minimizes the effects of electromagnetic interference (EMI) by containing unwanted radiation and keeping out unwanted external interference.
