Horizontal Honing Machine combines the speed of grinding with the accuracy of lapping. The honing process is high precision and economical. In order to meet and achieve the growing demand of high bore accuracy, surface finish and productivity, the machine is provided with auto stroking. The electronic timer circuit is specially designed with digital display, buzzer and auto control arrangement, to make the machine ideal, which avoids skills of operator. The machine accommodates a variety of jobs with different sizes, shapes and length. Various fixtures can be easily and quickly installed to the stroking arm of machine. The machine can be operated in 5-6 different modes as per the requirement of components. Feed rates, stroke length, stroke speed, spindle speeds can be adjusted. The machine thus provides practical and economical solution to the complicated and tiring process of bore finishing. The specification includes horizontal; model - MES-AHHM-01, stroking - power & manual, ID range - for power stroking 3 mm to 95 mm, for manual stroking 3 mm to 165 mm, length range - open end or blind end bores, up to 250 mm length, spindle speeds of 200, 250, 320, 400, 500, 640, 800, 1000, 1270, 1600, 2000, 2500 RPM and stroking rates - 80, 110, 160, 220, 310 strokes/min.
