Humidity chambers are used to ensure the reliability of industrial products, especially electronic & metal items, through prolonged exposure to temperature & humidity parameters. They provide heating and/or cooling and often include an analog meter, digital readout or video display with test results. Some chambers subject samples, components or products to extreme temperatures, thermal cycling or extreme humidity to find how the components cope up with the extreme environment. In humidity chamber we can obtain a particular temperature and a particular humidity by fixing wet & dry temperature to a particular point. All chambers will have a standard values which gives the details of setting wet & dry temperatures to get the needed humidity & temperature. Performance specifications for chambers include temperature range, temperature control accuracy, humidity range, humidity control accuracy and chamber capacity. Temperature range and humidity range are full-scale values. Temperature range accuracy is measured in degrees or as a percentage of a full-scale output or reading. Humidity control accuracy is expressed as a percentage.
